As a key member of the Internal I.T. Infrastructure Team, the Network Administrator is responsible for general administration of EastLink’s Corporate network infrastructure. Specifically, responsibilities of the Network Administrator include: design, deployment, documenting, monitoring, management, and support of Corporate data services.

A technical problem solver and planner, the Network Administrator is expected to contribute to the development of standard and customized services and procedures. The successful candidate will also assist with the utilization of network monitoring and management tools, which will allow for performance measurement and ensure the health of the Corporate network.

Responsibilities:

·         Assist with capacity planning, problem resolution and maintenance of hardware/software required to support Corporate network services

• Develop tools and processes that enable the I.T Infrastructure group to monitor and maintain the data network
• Ensure service quality meets established standards in all systems
• Keep informed concerning the latest industry trends and developments
• Ensure proper monitoring is performed throughout the network
• Ensure documentation of new and existing network connections
• Report trending and highlight areas of concern
• Work with Senior Network Administrator to ensure the development of the overall network infrastructure
• Support other I.T. Infrastructure team members with technical advice on client / server deployments

Purpose

 To design and implement code modules predetermined with the Technical Lead and Director to agreed schedules.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 ·         Liaising with other Software Engineers and members of the project team

·         To ensure that the Technical Lead and Technical Director are aware of the progress of their work

·         To alert the Technical Lead and Technical Director to any issues they have with their work or the agreed schedules

·         To implement code to the required standard

·         To ensure code implemented is thoroughly designed

·         To achieve all set targets

• Construction of games assets, including creation of terrain, environments, props, model unwrapping and hand painting textures.
• Preparing assets and creating a compelling scene which brings the concept work to life.
• Working closely with the Art Director and Lead Artist to maintain art style and cohesive look and feel throughout the game.
• Maintaining a consistent quality of work while staying on schedule.

Background: Mindful Scientific is an early-stage medical device company that has developed a breakthrough diagnostic device called the Halifax Consciousness Scanner (HCS).  The HCS is a device that uses electroencephalography (EEG) technology to assess consciousness in individuals who have suffered from a traumatic brain injury (TBI).  The device uses a proprietary approach and technologies to automate subject stimulation, data acquisition and analysis, and the reporting of results.  The first prototype (HCS 1.0) has been developed and is currently undergoing clinical validation. While the company is continuing HCS prototype development, it is also focused on the growing opportunity in mobile health (mHealth) and leveraging to the explosion of popularity in “apps”.
