As a key member of the Internal I.T. Infrastructure Team, the Network Administrator is responsible for general administration of EastLink’s Corporate network infrastructure. Specifically, responsibilities of the Network Administrator include: design, deployment, documenting, monitoring, management, and support of Corporate data services.

 

A technical problem solver and planner, the Network Administrator is expected to contribute to the development of standard and customized services and procedures. The successful candidate will also assist with the utilization of network monitoring and management tools, which will allow for performance measurement and ensure the health of the Corporate network.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Assist with capacity planning, problem resolution and maintenance of hardware/software required to support Corporate network services

  • Develop tools and processes that enable the I.T Infrastructure group to monitor and maintain the data network
  • Ensure service quality meets established standards in all systems
  • Keep informed concerning the latest industry trends and developments
  • Ensure proper monitoring is performed throughout the network
  • Ensure documentation of new and existing network connections
  • Report trending and highlight areas of concern
  • Work with Senior Network Administrator to ensure the development of the overall network infrastructure

III.   PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Technical Expectations:
·         1+  years professional hands-on experience of the full SDLC in SharePoint application development
·         Requires technical skills that include ASP.NET (3.5/4.0), C#, MS SQL Server, Web Services, Web Forms, -N- Tier Architecture, AJAX, and CSS
·         Experience with the following is desired:  TDD, Continuous Integration, Design Patterns, Agile Development methodologies, 508 compliance, 3rd party controls (Telerik RAD), building features and Web Parts for SharePoint
·         Define, design, and document technical configuration requirements of hosted/non-hosted solutions according to
·         SharePoint best practices (product, hardware, software).
·         Knowledge in the administration/configuration/customization of SharePoint Server 2007/2010.
·         Experience with debugging, profiling and unit testing
·         Prior experience with relational databases (Oracle 10g/11g and Sybase 12.5.3)
·         Experience with XML and GUI design
·         Working knowledge of performance testing is a plus
